An NSA meeting at the offices of city centre Leeds firm, Kelly & Co Property Solicitors, held on 11th February was well attended with 24 individual West and North Yorkshire firms represented.
Firms whose practice areas included a broad spectrum of disciplines including residential and commercial conveyancing, private client, and litigation, heard the NSA message that competing law firms can benefit from working together in joint marketing initiatives and that establishing at network of local groups on a nationwide basis all marketing under NSA can provide a viable means of countering the threat to the high street practice from ‘supermarket law’ entrants.
Following a lively ‘questions and answers’ session, discussions are now taking place with 17 of those attending firms to progress the formation of new NSA groups in Leeds, York, Harrogate and Bradford.
